Welcome

Asking for help is not always easy. Many people think that asking for help is a sign of weakness. I have found that asking for help takes tremendous strength.

Every person has stuff they are dealing with. Sometimes life seems overwhelming. It is easy to fall into hopelessness and believe that life will never be different or better.

Some people turn to those around them for help. Advice and guidance from friends and family sometimes helps, and sometimes it seems that no matter where we turn, the answers are just not there. Others keep it all in and hope they can figure it out on their own. If it feels like nothing is changing or getting better, it is ok to ask for help.

We can not change the things that have already happened, but we can work to put those things in the past where they do not control your present or future.

Many people believe that time heals all wounds. Time heals physical wounds not emotional wounds. Emotional wounds not dealt with continue to affect people for years, even a lifetime.

For some people, life has been good for many years and all of a sudden gets turned upside down. Maybe your marriage/partnership is in trouble, maybe you have already divorced, maybe your child has gotten out of control, maybe you have lost someone close to you. Whatever it is, life does not have to stay upside down. You do not have to struggle alone.

Your past or even your present circumstances do not have to define your future. Today can be the start of your journey to a better life filled with more joy and peace. It is possible to be free from sadness, depression, anxiety, fear, addiction, or whatever it is making life feel miserable.

What you can expect in therapy:

  • Practical suggestions
  • Ability to take control over your life
  • Freedom from past hurts
  • Support and encouragement
